  • GLOBAL CHILD DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR (Full-time)

    The Global Child Development Coordinator will oversee all aspects of Nazarene Compassionate Ministries’ (NCM) child development programs and centers. This includes supporting holistic child development (HCD) coordinators on each global region through regular training and resources, monitoring and evaluating existing HCD ministries, and strategizing advocacy to the church at every level in the areas of child protection and holistic ministry to children, particularly children-at-risk. The coordinator will manage all aspects of NCM’s child sponsorship program and its team, including developing short-term and long-term strategies, promoting the program, and collaborating with other NCM teams to maximize the efficiency and processes of the program. Responsibilities also include ensuring quality reporting, communications, and story-telling for the purpose of educating the global church and raising financial support.

    This position requires international travel that amounts to roughly 20-25% of the overall scope of work.

    Qualifications:

    ·         Experience and passion for serving through the Church of the Nazarene

    ·         Dedicated to serving vulnerable communities through local churches

    ·         Post-graduate degree in child development or related area

    ·         2 years of experience with staff management, mentoring and team leading

    ·         2 years of experience in child development programming

    ·         Highly organized with the ability to multi-task

    ·         Strong cross-cultural skills

    ·         Multi-lingual skills a plus
